Origin of the hemoglobin powder: the Netherlands. Why? There is currently no Swedish production of food-grade hemoglobin powder.

Our specialist producer is a world leader in innovative, renewable raw materials from the meat industry, focusing exclusively on recovering nutrients from by-products that would otherwise go to waste.

There is no dedicated organic production, so the animals may come from all types of farms, provided that each animal meets the required health standards.

The hemoglobin powder then undergoes thorough testing for pathogens, heavy metals, pesticides and other parameters. It is also guaranteed to be free from hormones and antibiotics.

Because the raw material (blood) is sterile when handled correctly, the resulting hemoglobin is also very pure. It is one of the few animal-derived raw materials whose quality is not automatically improved by organic production.

Nevertheless, we firmly support good animal welfare (we are not fans of the conventional meat industry) and hope to see dedicated organic production in Sweden in the future.

Supported by research

New times require new, more sustainable solutions. Advances in food technology and innovative solutions for increased circularity make it possible today to better utilize nutrients from the meat industry that otherwise risk being lost.

We make it possible for groups with a greater iron need to eat more animal iron - without having to eat more meat.
